About Us
The Seven Stars is a traditional country pub in the beautiful village of Thornton Hough on the Wirral peninsula, serving fresh and delicious hot food
The Seven Stars is a charming traditional country pub set in the heart of the beautiful village of Thornton Hough on the Wirral peninsula.
Dating from the 1850s, the pub is tastefully decorated in a style keeping with the traditional feel of the building. On cold winter nights the fire burns in the inglenook fireplace adding to the cosy atmosphere.
Freshly produced food is available in the restaurant (meals can also be served in the bar area) between 12 noon and 9pm every day. Specials are available daily.
The pub offers free WiFi access and is conveniently located for cyclists enjoying the Millennium Cycle Route which passes the front door of The Seven Stars on Route 56 Chester to Liverpool. Walkers are also welcome and again we are conveniently situated for a number of popular walking routes in the Wirral countryside.
Be sure to join us on a Wednesday night for the quiz starting at 9.30pm. Topics include general knowledge, entertainment, faces, and a music round. A traditional roast with all the trimmings is served every Sunday, bookings are advisable.
The Seven Stars has full access for wheel chairs and disabled toilet facilities are available. Outside is a beer garden for enjoying the summer days and admiring the beauty of the quaint village and its rural setting. Car parking available.
